Calling all Residents of Ham Close!
📣Have Your Say: New Estate Regulations Agreement
As part of the ongoing redevelopment at Ham Close, we’re introducing aNewEstate Regulations Agreement for all tenants moving to the new development that will be ready from June 2026. This agreement sits alongside tenant’s tenancy and outlines the shared rules and responsibilities that will help keep the estate safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
These regulations already apply to all leaseholders through their leases. For tenants, the same rules will now be included as an additional document that new customers will be asked to read and sign. This ensures that everyone living at Ham Close is held to the same standards, in line with our wider obligations under the Estate Management Agreement. Although this is specific for Ham Close, it is now more common that we need to produce similar agreements for new developments.
📄 What the Agreement Covers
The Estate Regulations Agreement sets out expectations around:
How homes and balconies can be used
Noise and nuisance
Pets
Use of shared spaces
Waste and recycling
Safety and maintenance
Behaviour towards neighbours and staff
These rules are designed to support a positive living environment and reduce issues that can affect comfort, safety, and community wellbeing.
